I Had A Dream....
Hello, My name is Eric Franklin and I am a small business owner in Duluth, MN. I own a small personal training studio called XMT-3 Training. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic my business has been mandated "non-essential" and I have been forced to shut my doors. I have reached out to state officials attempting to apply for an "exemption" but have been unsuccessful in my attempts. Now, I am asking for your support.
As a small business owner, I am watching bills mount (mortgage, credit cards, phone, electric, studio rent etc) like so many of you out there. I am doing my best to remain optimistic but must face the bitter truth: Without the support of my community, I will be FORCED to close down my business. I do not want this to happen.
Asking for help does not come easy for me, as I am a prideful man who quit his day job 3 years ago to run my business full-time. I am a first generation business owner and looked forward to my children one day working alongside me, however, that hope is now being challenged it ways I never thought imaginable.
But I will not give up. I am looking to raise $20,000 to help pay my bills that continue to accumulate during this time. I specifically will use the money for studio rent (for 6 months), business insurance (6 months) mortgage payments (3 months), utility payments (6 months) any left over money will be put towards moving my studio into a safer neighborhood. The amount of $20,000 will allow me to pay for the items listed above and help with moving cost because I do not want to have to start another campaign depending on when gyms will be able to open.
My wife is employed but her hours are not guaranteed.She is a speech therapist at the hospital but we are not sure how safe her employment situation will be in the near future. We have 3 children (Najib 9, Zakai 5 and Elon 7 months) and I want to be able to provide for them and your donations will help!!!
Your support will allow me to continue to provide mental and physical wellness for our community. I have been in business for almost 5 years and have continually worked to improve the mental and physical health of members of our community. I am extremely grateful for any donation that can be made. I look forward to continuing to operate XMT-3 Training in the Duluth/Hermantown area.
