Please help us provide free tuition for the September 2018 – May 2019 academic year.
For the past two academic years, free tuition has been a reality for all of our students who attend New England Bible College (NEBC) and Grace Evangelical Seminary (GES, the only active seminary in Maine) because of the generous support received from our donors.
Why do we provide free tuition? Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire are known as the “least religious states” in America having the fewest people who attend church. NEBC and GES are training grounds for those who are called to ministry as a vocation in churches and para-church organizations.
Through a rigorous curriculum, students are compelled to explore and wrestle with deep questions, to learn to study and handle the Scriptures with integrity and to develop the skills necessary to lead, teach and guide others to maturity in Jesus Christ.
Many of our students have to balance their family and professional responsibilities with their educational efforts, and free tuition has been the key to ensuring they are able to continue their studies. We work individually with our students to develop a course of study that suits their educational and vocational goals.
Whether it’s our multiple certificate and degree programs, day and evening classes, weekend classes, personal directed studies, or meeting in various locations around Maine, we strive to accommodate the needs of our students so they can meet the needs of their local churches.
