Former baseball standout Scott Pose is currently an up and coming radio announcing talent. During a recent broadcast, he mentioned that he was never fined for the one game he was ejected from in his career. In 1997.
The International League commissioner happened to hear the broadcast and has instituted a 150 dollar fine, 22 years after the fact, along with 205 dollars in accrued interest.
While we're sure Mr. Pose is doing just fine for himself and can pay his own fines, we feel that a message need to be delivered to the International League that this miscarriage of justice will not stand.
