Gather! Dream! Amplify! Less than 100 days to the start of World Pride 2023 and we need your help!!! We have around 1200 amazing Free Mum Hugs Australia members and a great group of marchers for the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade in February…

Whether you’re marching or not, please help us supercharge this fundraiser to take Free Mum Hugs' message of love, affirmation and celebration to the world! Every donation helps – small or large, as does sharing the link through your own pages, networks, workplaces and communities!

If every one of our members were able to donate $5.00 we’d have $5980! We understand, of course, that not everyone is able to give in dollars, but we’d love y’all to share the link and know that a little bit of your goodwill will be rolling down the street on our fabulous float as we spread your love!

Creation and transport of the float for the parade from Brisbane to Sydney and the parade entry fee and insurance costs will be the main use of funds raised. We are aiming for a buffer also for unanticipated costs and will roll any unspent funds over into other agreed-upon Free Mum Hugs activities to benefit the LGBTQIA+ community.

We remain a group of committed volunteers. As such, and as always, our funds are managed and allocated by founding & admin members. We keep records of expenditure and thank past and future donors for the trust you place in us to do this work.

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.
