Free Meals: KC Unemployed Restaurant Workers

We invite you to join the Open Belly Podcast, Café Corazón and The Tamale Kitchen in providing unemployed restaurant workers with a delicious free meal.
Each meal includes:
*2 tamales from the Tamale Kitchen, a not-for-profit that breaks the cycle of poverty by giving immigrant women a living wage
*a Café con Leche from Café Corazón
A donation of $10.00 provides this meal for one person, but any amount makes a difference. The meals will be offered for pick-up at 3 locations with the goal of feeding 300+ people: Café Corazón in midtown, a location in North Kansas City, and a third location at El Centro in KCK. It's time to join together and help each other out—and through your donation, you are aiding 3 groups at one time.
