Free Ebikes & Escooters Galway Health Workers

Emergency Doctors and Nurses in Galway City's University College Hospital, Galway City's and Connacht's main regional hospital, who are at the front lines of protecting Galway city and county from the Covid 19 virus are subject to restricting themselves regarding infection in how they travel.
These critical medical workers cannot take taxis, busses or any other shared public transport due to the risk of sharing or catching the disease. They can't take family shared transport because they do not want to share the virus with their kids. Bus timetables have changed and do not suit those who have offpeak shifts.
This is ER Nurse Cathleen Moran - she is moving her self 40 miles into Galway City, away from her loving family to spend more hours in Acute Medicine for the next few weeks to save your family’s lives! She has no way of getting from her temporary accomodation to the hospital.
Brite Mobility are now providing free electric bikes and scooters to these Galway workers. This will enable these workers get to their shifts quickly, on time, hassle free.
Brite are providing HSE workers with a Brite E Commuter E bikes and EScooters for free for the duration of the pandemic.
We need a little help financially in providing the service. Our cost for an ebike is €180 per month and €110 per month for a scooter. This covers the cost of our staff, servicing, maintenance, vans and redistribution. We are a small start up with big plans but unfortunatley we cannot provide this service for an extended period without help! Any additional funds raised will go towards providing the free service into the coming months.
Our goal is 110 doctors and nurses on bikes and scooters by April 10th.
Please help us provide this essential transport service to hundreds of Galway's health care workers who have difficulty getting to work due to time and cost.
Brite are a privately owned Galway start up that plan on launching an ebike sharing scheme in Galway and other Irish cities this summer.
