FREE CPR TRAINING FOR 100 PEOPLE

On Monday evening our 16 month old baby crawled into the bathroom and in a matter of moments fell into a tub collecting water from the shower.
He was found unresponsive, blue, not breathing.
If it was not for the application of CPR by my neighbor for 13 minutes we would have lost him.
Baby Jasper is back at home, happy, healthy and cheeky, having given his family, friends and the community around him the most terrifying wake up call: be careful with ANY body of water and CPR training can and does save lives.
Only 5% of the Australian population has first aid training and if the cost is a deterrent then this is how we fix that.
I will be working with The First Aid Training Company and Hunter Heart Safe to provide small group training at no cost to the participant at locations around Newcastle and the Hunter. The goal is 100 people trained by Easter.
Parents, grandparents, neighbours: our experience with Jasper has opened our eyes to the importance of CPR training.
