FRED'S ADOPTION

You may know that almost five years ago little Fred Wayne came into our lives and over the past four and a half hour years we have been processing our sweet son’s adoption. It has been a very long and grueling process to say the least. The local social work system here has actually lost Fred’s case entirely, and we have had to start over again. Throughout the process we have been assigned and reassigned social workers four times. We have had to submit Fred for evaluation over and over again as medical records must be updated annually. We have been emotionally and financially drained and pushed to the max with the frustration of the inefficient process here. Although there has been a lot of tears and much heartbreak in this process, we are confident that Fred Wayne was hand picked for our family and we continue to pray that the Lord would bring a breakthrough in Fred’s case. This year the Lord has led us to the path of breakthrough. Through the attorney who works with Glory Reborn Cebu we were able to connect with a national attorney who has experience in foreign adoption. Together with her help, Fred’s case has moved forward!
We now have a court date, August 10, 2018.
The court has asked for additional paperwork and evaluations to be done prior to the hearing. This also requires us to raise additional funds as our previous savings have been spent over the last 4 year process of having Fred worked up medically and the grueling adoption process. We are hoping to raise $7,000 in total, $4,000 will cover the legal expense, $2,000 will cover the court fees and $1000 to cover more medical examinations that may be required for a Fred.

No further delays and a court date that is not moved or delayed
A judge who would handle our case with understanding and wisdom
The financial capacity for the legal fees and court fees
Healing and wisdom for doctors handing Fred’s bone growth disorder, epilepsy, autism, adhd and developmental delay.
As his name means, “peaceful ruler; builder” we are excited to see the Lord build our family with Fred Wayne’s life and are praying the peace beyond earthly understanding in this case this year.
