These are just a few anecdotes of how much Freddie’s authenticity impacted me, us, you - if you knew him.

Any moment with Freddie was a remarkable experience that no one ever forgot. Be it his random jokes, business savvy, or overall wisdom.

Freddie has been the soul of a community and a leader of the people.

One evening, as Freddie conducted a routine close out of his restaurant, he received a traumatic blow to his head. He was found unresponsive on the floor of his restaurant. The trauma to his head caused immediate and significant bleeding that flooded his brain.

Consequently, Fred lost all brain functionality and unfortunately breathed his last on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

It is a devastating moment in each of our lives, as Freddie has left us.

A community has lost their leader and spirit. Through his pizza restaurant - Amecis Pizza Oxnard - Freddie was a source of energy, zest, and love.

His sudden and tragic passing has added a tremendous amount of stress to the community and his restaurant.

He was a man who never took, but always gave.

It's now our turn to support the continuation of Amecis Pizza Oxnard and Fred’s legacy.

How disheartening would it be if Fred's Ameci Oxnard legacy were to abruptly end.

Hailing from the hustle and bustle of NYC, Fred - a loving father, husband, and friend - brought his charisma, charm, and heart to the Oxnard, CA community with his bespoke NYC style pizza shop over 30 years ago. 

Through his pizza shop in Oxnard, CA (1929 Patterson Rd.), Fred contributed to the nourishment of this community and its people.

His store is a beacon of light in a community that is on the path to revival and growth. 

He was the man who fed those who hadn't eaten for days. 

He was the man who offered a shoulder and hug to those crying.

He was the man who lent an ear to those who wanted to be heard. 

He was the man who created a safe space for us all to fail, cry, express our feelings and thoughts, and flat out chill with him!

IT'S OUR TIME TO LEND A HAND TO OUR DEAREST’S AMECIS PIZZA OXNARD LEGACY FOR FRED - OUR LEADER, OUR FATHER, OUR BROTHER, OUR FAMILY.
