Freda M. Mason Memorial Fund

The Freda M. Mason Memorial Scholarship Fund is being established for the benefit of her grandchildren, Mason, Azura, and Daniel Campbell and their future educational and extracurricular needs. 

Ms. Freda Moore Mason  was a tireless advocate for her daughter, Breai, providing her with diverse educational opportunities, and instilling in her a dedication to public service and a love of Baltimore. 

Ms. Freda was born in Baltimore Maryland and received her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland - College Park and worked for the University of Maryland Medical System, earning the Facilities Management Leadership Award for Security Management.  Ms. Mason coordinated the Emergency Management Plan and instituted the Departmental Safety Officer Program.  She was a member of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and strived to help each organization she worked with to develop and implement safety policy and training. 

Ms . Freda was deeply committed to education and this fund is being set up in honor of her devotion to learning.
