Fred & Kate's Honeymoon Trip

We know a lot of friends and family were let down that we married with no notice and you couldn't celebrate in our joyous occasion. So we, Frederick and Kate, have decided (in part because he hasn't met Kate's brother yet) that we'll drive round-trip across the country to Oregon where Elliott and Sarah live and while we are at it visit some of you on our way and back as our "honeymoon" before Fred's Navy orders kick in. We have a camper shell so we are going sleep in the bed of the truck at national parks and visit places we've never been before - okay let's be honest, those places are going to be breweries - we are going to drink our way across the US and maybe we'll see the Badlands and Old Faithful.  
When we announced our marriage, we had friends and family who wanted to send us gifts, which is absolutely lovely, but we have two full households that we are trying to combine into one. We already have way too much stuff for two people (anyone want to buy our extra stuff - we have at least 3 blenders, 5 couches, 4 crockpots, 8 chairs, 5 beds, and a room full of Pyrex between the two of us!). Not wanting to sound greedy or pretentious, but we are kindly requesting that if you were planning on or wanting to send us something, that it be for this trip instead. We are looking at traveling around 7700 miles in about three weeks. Gas alone will cost us about $1500 - $2500. We are trying to keep other costs down by camping out of the truck in free locations, but we will occasionally stay at a hotel/motel or campgrounds because Kate likes to shower. We will also probably use your gifts for beer at those breweries and coffee to keep Fred sane. If you can't donate, then let us know where we should go and we'll bring you back a sticker.
We thought it would be a great idea to film and post parts of our trip on YouTube so you can follow along. We've been looking at GoPro cameras for this. We may use some of your gifts towards this as well.

No gift is too small:
$10 would get us a flight or two of beer at a local brewery
$20 would get us an overnight stay at a campground or a shower for Kate at a truck stop
$30 would get us tour tickets to attractions
$75 would get us a tank of gas and 500 miles of travel
