Frazee VFW Covid Relief Fund

After 74 years as a solid presence in the Frazee community, our local VFW club was rocked and left financially devastated within a matter of a few months.  The COVID-19 pandemic left an unfortunate hole in the middle of so many small businesses, our VFW club is among those hit hardest.  Unlike many other bars and restaurants, our club was not able to draw even a meager income stream from the limited options such as curb-side food take out or delivery service, we literally shut the doors on March 16th and have taken in zero revenue since then.  The one thing that didn't stop, however, were the bills!  The trench from March 16th up to now deepened so severely to where it just wouldn't have been good business practice to try to reopen just yet. With the goal amount that we're hoping to reach, our club would be able to fully replenish inventory that ended up going out of date due to the extended length of shut down.  We would also be able to cover payroll for our local employees to be able to profitably return to work.  The final portion of our goal amount would help us to pay off an assortment of different bills that have been looming over our heads since March, so that we can confidently open our doors and get back to doing what we love! Every penny of support is greatly appreciated by all of us here at the Frazee VFW.  We are a bar, and a FUN one at that, but we are so much more than that.  We have a long standing legacy of support and involvement within our community.  This is something we take great pride in.  We are a non-profit organization, which means that once our overhead is covered, we look for ways to apply any excess revenue for the betterment of not only veterans, but community members in need. With us shut down, we are no longer able to generate the revenue which helps us continue to serve and support those heroic veteran's here in our community.  We're unable to continue to proudly provide scholarships to our promising student population, one way we help to ensure a stronger future.  There is no "fee-free" facility to host benefits and fundraisers at either.  There are a multitude of other ways in which we strive to be of service within our community, but all of them are currently at a standstill unless we can feel through the dark and find the helping hand to lift us back up into the light.  If you're able, please consider helping us recover from this crippling setback so that we can start planning another strong 74 years of service. Thank you!
