Frank's Bone Marrow Transplant Fund

Donation protected
Where do I begin? Just a few short months ago, our family was shocked to find out that my father, Frank Haynes, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This was a complete blow and major hit to our family. He was the primary caregiver to my mother and his grandson. He was the primary source of income and worked as a ranch foreman, as well as did welding jobs on the side to help pay their bills. He was also the only one who could drive and was relied upon heavily for getting Cashton and Alicia to and from school and work, to pick up groceries, to take my mother to and from the doctor, and more. We kept asking ourselves how could it be that the most loving, hardworking, selfless man we had ever known had cancer, but the truth is, cancer doesn’t care and it doesn’t wait for anyone. We had no idea how drastically our lives were about to change. Luckily, we have a very strong family unit and a close group friends that have stepped up to the plate and batted for my Dad. We couldn’t have made it to this point without them. Since his diagnosis, he spent two months in the hospital for treatment and is officially in remission!!! Praise the Lord. However, there is still a need for a Bone Marrow Transplant, which is very costly. His doctor is hoping to have him ready for the transplant by the end of November or December. We were hoping to have a little more time so that we could do a BBQ benefit to help raise the money that we would need for his medical expenses but things are moving so fast that we don't have enough time to organize it. Instead, we are going this route and asking for your help to raise money for him. The Bone Marrow Transplant is going to require him to move into an apartment next to the hospital for at least 3-4 months, so he can be treated promptly for any emergency. He will not be allowed to drive and living an hour away from the hospital is not an option. This way they will also be able to utilize Uber or other car services to get him to and from the hospital or the clinic for his required daily visits. The donations would also help provide food and pay for his daily medications. This is the only way that he will be able to get the transplant that he needs to beat cancer and come home. We are asking that if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated and if not, please pray for healing.  We thank everyone so far for all the love and support. May God bless you all.
