Franklin County MO Winter Homeless Fund

Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit the Homeless in Franklin County by providing a warm place to stay on the coldest days of the winter, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much.

This year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the warming shelter at Mercy Hospital is not available.  A task force of churches, the cities, Mercy, and the human service organizations have come up with a plan, but we are in need of funding.  This is a temporary plan for a long term issue.  We are dedicated to continuing to work together on a more permanent solution for our community

We are partnering together and many organizations have already stepped up to the plate to assist.  Mercy is going to act as a gatekeeper to assist in registering individuals and families in need,  they are also providing a meal.  Many churches are providing volunteers to help deliver food as well as some funding.  The Franklin County Community Resource Board has volunteered to be the fiscal agent for this program.
