Frankfield Primary Technology Fund

Let’s re-energize our roots and give back to our community and school located in the rustic hills of South Manchester, Jamaica West Indies.

The primary objective of this fundraiser is to help our alma mater meet the demands of the 21st century. To that end the immediate goal is to purchase two (2) multimedia systems as a segway to a more ambitious goal of creating a technology lab.  

A multimedia system is a basic ingredient in the mix for an engaged and successful 21st century classroom.  This will allow easy connections between visual and audio presentations that will lead to deeper understanding of the learning material for students. The overall academic advantage is that being more engaged and stimulated the students’ problem-solving ability will be heightened.  These resources will also benefit the teachers to increase their instructional style to include use of images, videos and animation thus maximizing the success rate of each student
This system will support and  benefit three hundred and eight (308) students and twelve (12) teachers.

 The target date to achieve this goal is November 15, 2019
