Frank Rivera Recovery Fund

Frank Rivera, Banquet and Dining Manager is a long term staff member at the Hideaway Golf Club in LaQuinta, CA.  He is known to all Members, Staff and Friends who have had the privilege enjoying his personalized service, humor and warmth over several years.  Just a few short weeks ago, Frank suffered a series of strokes which have negatively impacted the quality of his life in many ways.  He was very lucky to get medical attention within 24 hours of the incident however the condition has left him impacted on his left side in addition to eyesight and hearing loss.  He has a long road to recovery and this is why we wanted to help someone who has enriched our lives in so many ways over seven seasons at the Hideaway Golf Club.  

While Frank is insured today, that will change going forward as our club season winds down and his insurance changes significantly along with a change in his long term disability.  Normally, Frank would go to The Valley Club in Idaho to maintain income and insurance.  As a result of his condition, this won't be possible in 2018.  The funds we are trying to raise is to help him maintain his rehabilitation and to help offset other medical and transportation expenses that may not get covered as a result of the change in his coverages.   In many ways, this will also lighten the burden on his family who have also made the sacrifices to handle his daily needs.   Many of our members and friends have asked how to help Frank, and I think this is the best way to ensure resources get right to Frank and his family.  Thank you for your thoughts and considerations.
