Frank Needs our Support

Someone in our community needs your help. Frank. He’s a local, 75-year-old man who fell thru the cracks. His eye site in one eye gone, his hearing on one side also gone and eventually he lost his way in society. He’s a good man. Doesn’t drink or do drugs and does his best to stay clean even though he sleeps in his old car. With the heat becoming unbearable, a post was put up on a local Facebook page explaining Frank’s plight. With an over whelming response it soon became necessary to build this go fund me page. You would never guess when you see Frank and his smile that he’s under so much pressure. He’s been in the hospital 2 times now because of the stress effecting his stomach. He’s very worried that he’ll lose his home.

With your kindness, we can tackle the obstacles that are plaquing him.
Fern White ran across the post from a community member about Frank and with the encouragement of the community she jumped into action. Contacting the city, our SLO's -Senior Lead Officer LAPD Slo Duke Dao jumped on it going to the DMV and gathering the information on his registration / insurance. Frank’s difficulties with his car and his license are being worked on as fast as possible.

Slo Kari McNamee is working with LAPD HOPE ( Homeless Outreach Proactive Engagement) & LAHSA for housing which will be updated.
