Our names are Terri and Linda. We are dear friends of Frank and CathyLees. 
At 68 Frank continued his passion for music and started singing and playing his guitar for the local senior’s homes bringing joy to the residents.
At the end of June, Frank was feeling unwell knowing his wife Cathy could not come into the hospital with him due to Covid he drove himself to the hospital where he learned he had a heart attack 2 days earlier. During the surgery to clear the blocked arteries, Frank suffered a stroke leaving him paralyzed on one side and unable to speak. Frank has spent the last 5+ months in 3 hospitals in 3 different cities.
Still paralyzed, unable to speak and provide himself the basic personal care, the hospital will be discharging frank to continue his recovery at home. Frank will require speech, physical, aphasia and occupational therapies, 24 hour care, modifications to the home including but not limited to widened doorways, ramps, modified washroom and bathing facilities, a hospital bed, special wheelchair and mobile lifts.
To bring Frank home we need your help. A quote given to modify the home is nearly $100,000 this includes a ramp to enter the home, widen doorways to accommodate his wheelchair, a lift to assist to transition him from his wheelchair to bed and bath, speech therapy, modify vehicle to transport him to doctor’s appointments.
