<div>My name is Meldon Ellis, (aka, Mel).  I have been fortunate to have Frank O'Brien as my brother-in-law for over 40 years, and Charon as my beloved sister.  Recently, they were confronted with the very sad news of Frank's cancer diagnosis. The timing of these challenges is never opportune, particularly considering the recent losses our family has endured.  We lost my sister Kim two years ago, followed by my mother, Beth, and then my brother-in-law, Peter, just a year ago.

They provided unwavering support as we navigated the difficult experiences of supporting caring for our other family members, including my father, Tom, my brother-in law, Gordon, and my sister Juliet, all of whom lost spouses within the past two years.

<div>Both Frank and Charon are self-employed, and this campaign's objective is to rally support and create a financial safety net for them.  This will allow them the opportunity to focus on one another and spend quality time together while navigating this challenging period.
