Frances Kathleen Driehorst was born Saturday, September 2nd at 1:21 a.m. While still pregnant with Frances the Fighter, the Driehorst family learned Frances had an early diagnosis of serious heart defects and stomach issues. Unfortunately, upon her birth there were even more complications.
For 3 1/2 days, Frances fought hard with the love and support of her parents, her nurturing sister, her grandparents, family, friends, and strangers from near and far. Unfortunately, on September 5th, Frances passed quietly in her mother's arms.
The Driehorst family is so proud of Frances, the strength she showed, and the love she brought them even in her short time with us. In lieu of flowers, Lauren, Brian, and Beverly would like to raise money and choose a foundation to donate to in order to honor the memor of Frances the Fighter. Once a foundation is chosen we will let everyone know the details that will receive this gift from Frances.
We have all received gifts from Frances. We have seen the strength and determination of a beautiful girl as she fought to spend precious time with her family. We have watched as Lauren and Brian have demonstrated strength and grace as parents loving their angel. We have learned how life is precious and we need to hold each other up.
At this time, we ask you to give a gift to Frances, Lauren, Brian, Beverly, and their families to honor Frances The Fighter. She gave us so much in the small time she was here and we want to thank her for those gifts.
