Frances Finnigan Memorial Fund for Grand Cty. EMS

The family of Frances “Fran” Finnigan is heartbroken to announce her passing on Monday, August 31 following a traumatic brain injury. There is peace in knowing that Fran – devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt – is in Heaven, dancing the “jig” and watching down on her loved ones with her smiling Irish eyes. Fran and her husband Dennis, the love of her life, have been long-time residents of Winter Park. They would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on September 4. Please keep Fran’s family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Fran will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to donations to the American Diabetes Association, The family set up a memorial fund in lieu of flowers in Fran's honor to support Grand County EMS (Emergency EMT and Paramedic Services).    Grand County EMS provided the critical care Fran needed when she was transported to the hospital.  In addition, they are also very close to our hearts.  Fran loved the Grand County Community including Grand County EMS, where she helped her grandson, Eddie, study and train to receive his EMT certification. 

We are forever grateful to Grand County EMS due to their expertise and treatment of Fran and their role in helping nurture young people within the community to become EMT's.  All donations will go to critical safety gear for First Responders.  For more information about Grand County EMS, please select the link.
