Fran Starr's Cancer Fund

Hi My name is Sandy and I am the youngest daughter of Fran Starr. She is well know in the ballroom dance world and has taught for over 50 years. Recently she has been diagnosted with Pancreatic Cancer. Because of her age she can not get any treatment due to her only having one kidney. I tried to take care of her at home but after a week it was too much for mean emotionally and physically. I toof off of work for a week to do this and lost alot of pay since the company I work for does not have sick days. I am starting this Fund because once Medicaid starts taking her social security I myself will have a very hard time paying for the mortgage. Fran (Mother)has lived with me for over 20 years after my husband passed and we have been splitting the cost of all bills.
I am reaching out to all her friends, past students and the ballroom dance world to please see it in your heart to donate anything you can to help me keep our home and pay the utilities. I will be trying to sell it but at this time I am taking care of my Mom. She is now in Long Term Care at Providence of Downers Grove.
I do not know how much longer she has since I have been told that this type of cancer is quick.
