We hope you will please consider donating to help the Fraire family. Mr. & Mrs. Fraire (Jesus and Raquel) live in De Queen with their five children. Their oldest daughter Ashley is a student at De Queen schools and their four younger children Jennifer (4th grade), Jordy (2nd grade), Brandon (Kindergarten) and Jayden (Pre-K) are all students at Legacy Academy. Both parents are employed at Pilgrim's.
Friday night, they were hit by a drunk driver in a head-on collision. Sadly, Mr. Fraire and their youngest son, Jayden, were both killed in the accident.
Mrs. Fraire broke her leg in 9 places below the knee. She's now had surgery and is hospitalized in Texarkana. Jennifer, Jordy, and Brandon were all transported to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock for treatment. Jennifer suffered a collapsed lung and broken bones; while Jordy suffered a broken ankle, arm, and a shattered femur. He's had surgery to place a rod in his leg, and Brandon suffered a broken arm. Ashley's injuries were minor and did not require hospitalization. All three of them are doing well are expected to recover.
In an instant, their lives were changed. Ahead of them, they have physical recovery, funerals and the depths of grief to process that many of us will never know.
