help my dad fight brain cancer

Many of you know that the last 6 months has been a rough season in our family. While planning for my grandmas funeral, my family and I found out that my dad had a brain tumour. After being flown to Edmonton to perform emergency surgery, they were able to remove most of the tumour and we were told that it was most likely benign. Once the tests had actually been done, though, we were told that it is a rare cancerous tumour called grade 3 hemangiopericytoma. In other words, not benign. The plan was to do 6 weeks of radiation, and then see how the tumour reacted to it. The up-to-date diagnosis is that the tumour has shrunk, but the radiation isn’t doing enough to kill it completely. The plan is for my dad to go to Germany for further/ more enhanced treatment that you can’t get in Canada . This journey  hasn’t been an easy one and with my dad not being able to work, finances are short. 

The total amount needed for these treatments is roughly $30,000, any funds raised will be used to cover treatment costs, flights and accommodations.
