Fr. Pat McCullough Memorial Fund

Fr. Pat McCullough was born in Camlough, NI and while he was always an Armagh man he spent over 50 years of his life in New Zealand being one of the most amazing priests ever!  In March of 2017 he underwent heart surgery that none of us (including him) thought would end his life, however, unfortunately on March 14th complications of that surgery caused us to say goodbye to Pat with very heavy hearts.  Fr. Pat (and to many of us simply "Uncle Pat") was one of the most amazing human beings ever to have graced this earth and for those of us lucky enough to have been able to celebrate his life with those in New Zealand who he dedicated his life to, there was nothing more humbling than his funeral services.  To see first hand the absolute love and devotion that his parishioners had for him and to hear the amazing stories of his simple approach to life (its all about love and acceptance) and to see/hear first hand how influential this approach  was on so many people was just amazing.  The biggest takeaway from meeting his clergy was his absolute dedication to the youth of all parishes he was involved with and his belief that the youth are the future of the Church so we as his family would like to establish a fund where we/you can honor his dedication to the youth by helping fund some of the projects he initiated and was so involved with.  St. Michael's parish in Taita, NZ is not a wealthy parish and are trying to raise funds to pay for Summer Camp for the kids.   If you can help fantastic - every dollar/pound/euro counts and trust us when we say that you have no idea what this means to the youth of this parish.
