Hello Ann's family and friends, especially those of us that work with Ann.
On September 10th Ann was diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer that has metastasized to her left breast and was also found in her bone marrow. It has not spread beyond that as of yet. This form of cancer spreads the fastest of any cancer. The good new is that it is very responsive to chemo therapy. Once the cancer has shrunk enough, she will have surgery to remove the remains of any cancer masses in her body.
Ann decided that the Cleveland Clinic will be the best place to receive her treatment with the best facilities and most importantly top notch faculty.
Ann won't be able to work during her treatment, and many of you have expressed interest in donating money to help out. This site has been setup to send donations directly to Ann.
