If you've ever met me, you know I have two dogs who I love like children and are all I have left at this point.
My wonderful best friend, my 3-year-old Pit Bull, Benny, has mild signs of arthritis and severely ruptured ligaments in both of his back legs, making it almost impossible to walk. He's showing small signs of improvement but isn't reacting as well as I'd hoped on rest and medication alone.
But since he is so young, he has a VERY high chance of a successful surgery and living a happy, healthy life.
After recently being forced to move on short notice (which we all know is expensive) and being diagnosed with a third auto-immune disease, I'm just barely on my feet.
The goal I've set is ONLY for Benny's surgery expenses, an *estimated* $3,100 per leg to put plates in them, and the other miscellaneous fees including his pain and anti-inflammatory medicines and a prescription diet they want him to start. I'm also assuming there will be follow up visits that I haven't even factored in yet because I know I'm already asking too much of the people I know.
I know I'm asking for a miracle, but at this point it's all I can do.
