Maddie’s Medical Expenses

Maddie is my beautiful niece. She is 14 and was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. It is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer.  When found, her cancer had already spread to several locations.  She is facing 14 weeks of chemo followed by 6 weeks of radiation. She is a strong young woman with a heart of gold. The night before chemo, she generously cut her long hair to donate to children who need wigs. 

Maddie is being treated at St. Mary’s in Rochester but she lives in Eau Claire. Her mom, Sarah, will be with Maddie as much as possible and will obviously be missing a lot of work to support Maddie in her fight against cancer.  Sarah will have extra travel and lodging expenses and of course medical bills to pay as well, in addition to her usual monthly bills. 

Maddie’s family is rallying around her and helping as much as possible. Any donations are so greatly appreciated, as well as prayers. Thank you.

In the interest of transparency, I am setting up my sister, Julie Boese, to withdraw the funds and pay Sarah’s bills/expenses on her behalf. Sarah has enough to juggle and we felt it would be helpful if Julie could assist by taking care of expenses.
