Funds for New Synagogue

Dear friends and community members,

As we immerse ourselves in this week's Torah portion, Parashat Terumah, we are reminded of the powerful message of unity and generosity. Just as the Israelites came together to contribute towards the construction of the Tabernacle, we too are embarking on a journey to create a sacred space for our community. We envision a vibrant synagogue in the heart of Sherman Oaks that will serve as a beacon of togetherness, spirituality, and learning.

We are currently in escrow for the purchase of the property that will house this new synagogue. $350,000 is needed for the down payment and some minor improvements. As of today. $170,000 has already been raised with generous contributions from the community. The remaining funds of $180,000 is still needed by the end of this month, in order to fulfill this dream.

Our goal is to provide a welcoming space, where everyone feels embraced. A place where we can come together for prayer, celebration, and shared learning. By contributing to this cause, you are not only supporting a building, but you are also investing in the future of our community and the spiritual growth of each member.
