Children’s Memorial Damage Clean Up Heartland Park

We are sad to announce that sometime between  Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4, our Children’s Memorial suffered severe damage when an unauthorized group(s) held a candlelight vigil at our children’s memorial site, and it was left a complete mess with candle wax splattered all over the place to include some of our children’s memorial bricks which may have to be pulled up and replaced.  Broken  candles were found all over the children’s memorial site, and while they decided to damage our memorial, they also damaged our waterfall light(s) when they decided to burn candles on our sacred waterfall leaving melted wax all over the rocks. The waterfall has been turned off . This horrible incident will be reported, and investigated. It’s as bad as tearing up and destroying a cemetery!  Meanwhile, we have some very sad, and heartbroken grieving mothers right now that worked so hard to create a long lasting dream of a children’s memorial to honor their children taken too soon! We‘re raising money to clean up. and repair the damage to our scared place that every grieving parent has come to love and cherish in Heartland Park.  Angel Moms Over St Louis Missouri and Abroad donations will help with clean up, and add some tighter security at the children’s memorial site. Candlelight Vigils are no longer allowed at the Children’s Memorial site!! We will keep our Angel Parents posted! Thank you from all of us for your donations! Anything, you can spare would be greatly appreciated . We’re not allowed to host our annual fundraisers due to COVID19 so the cost to clean up and repair to the Children’s Memorial site is an added set back. Thank you again for your generous donations!
