Frankie is need of your help and aid. Frank Oesterling (Frankie) is a 22 year old young man and like most he has dreams. He joined the United States Army reserves right out of High School to help pay for his continued higher education. He has goals of following in his family’s footsteps and becoming a Law Enforcement Officer or Federal Agent. In September 2014, Frankie’s dreams were placed on hold. He was advised by his oncologist that his acute lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) had returned. The leukemia had once again been detected in his bones, and created a cancerous mass in his lung.
Due to the worsening of his leukemia, he will ultimately be forced once again to undergo aggressive chemotherapy. Additionally, he will need to receive full body radiation as well as a bone marrow transplant. When and if a donor is matched, he will be hospitalized at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks for treatment.
Since his recent diagnosis and treatment, he has been unable to work or attend school. The cost to his family has far exceeded their ability to pay and they are in need of our assistance.
We are the friends of Frank Oesterling and have been for 17 years. His diagnosis has again hit us as hard as it hit Frank and his family. Along with prayer, we feel compelled to do more. As you can imagine his medical bills will be extremely high and will put his family in financial hardship. Unbeknownst to them we are starting a campaign to raise funds to help offset some of their burden. Our initial goal is to raise $25000. Let's help Frank beat this for a second time.
