Foz's Urgent Surgery Fund

Foz, my beloved cat is jokingly referred to as the Mayor of Shelburne Falls, Ma. He likes to greet people on the street and give them his love. He is known to hang out outside the local coffee shop with me and join me for visits to the library where he wins over almost everyone. He is also welcome to join me at a client's home and is an informal therapy cat. Unfortunately late Sat. 7/29/17 afternoon I returned to town and let Foz out of the car after parking at my Apt. I had left the engine running, put a couple of items in the  car and started to drive out when I heard him scream. I had run over my own cat and never dreamed he would go under the running car, he's always been very car savvy. I rushed him to VESH and he      is now stable with a multiple fracture of his left rear leg. The costs are adding up fast and surgery alone is quoted at $4000.00+. I have looked into alternative Vet  hospitals, but as this is the weekend I can't relocate him yet. Please find it in your heart to contribute to his being around for many more years and enriching people's lives. With great gratitude Katharine Taylor.                              P. S.
