Fox Family Adoption

God moves in ways that we cannot fathom.  We know that God is Faithful and when we ask our Father for something, we never know how that will play out until it does.  His plan is perfect and much better than what we could ever dream of.
 
Last week, Nick & Keri Fox were made aware of an urgent need to find a home for a baby girl in Oregon (Due January 18th). You may not know it, but Nick & Keri have been praying specifically, since June, for direction and discernment to adopt.  When they received a call about a birth mom in crisis, they knew that this might be it. 

All of this has moved very quickly to say the least but God has been faithful and has opened so many doors in this past week.  The opportunity to adopt this sweet baby girl is becoming a huge possibility. 
 
To tell you a little bit about Nick & Keri, (if you don’t know them), is that they are a couple who are passionate about loving people and showing God’s love to all.  Last year, they planted a new church in San Diego which has already made a huge impact in the community and great number of lives.  With so much new life springing up around them, it doesn’t surprise me that God would choose this time for their family to begin.  The Foxes have always wanted to adopt, when and how were the only questions. They are beyond excited for this opportunity and amazed at how beautifully God is writing this part of their story.  They are some of the most vibrant and life-giving people I know and will give this baby girl all the love and affection they contain, and more. 

The purpose for this page is mainly to support them through prayer and finances.  Please pray for the birth mom, her health both physically, mentally and most importantly spiritually.  Pray that God is magnified through this process and that the birth mom feels peace and love knowing so many are praying for her as well as this sweet baby girl. 

Finances are obviously the most pressing need at this moment but we are confident that God always provides for what he wants to give his children.  We are amazed that He is already providing support smoothly and quickly through the hearts of several wonderful people and lawyers to help them in this process.  Since the birth mom is in Oregon, the Foxes need 3 different lawyers to help.  The adoption must be finalized in Oregon which could take several weeks and the fees and expenses for everything required for this to go through are intensified because of the very short amount of time. 

Again, we are confident that God will provide everything that is needed and more.  Our hope is for you to pray about your role in partnering with them.  Your support can be in the way financial giving, anything that they will need to care for a newborn and prayer.  Whatever you feel the Lord is prompting you to do is appreciated.  Any donation towards this journey of adoption will make a huge difference. Nick & Keri's hope is that any amount that is raised beyond what they need for this adoption will be put into an adoption fund at Commonwealth San Diego for another family to start their adoption journey. 

As a dear friend of the Foxes I want to thank you for being a part of this story. I am praying that God blesses every single person that that partners with them on this adoption journey. I know that God is with us as we have seen miracles in this process already.  I am truly grateful to even be a witness to what God has done so quickly and I am excited to see how God continues to move.
