<div>These four young kittens are – most likely due to calicivirus or herpesvirus – unfortunately blind and living in a very dangerous place. A kind-hearted animal rescuer found them there and is at least feeding them. Sadly, she cannot do more, as she already cares for many other cats and has no financial means left.

<div>They face countless dangers. Because of their blindness, they could easily be hit by a car. And there are cruel people out there who hate animals – especially cats – and cats keep disappearing in the area. These four cannot detect danger in time and are completely helpless. They also cannot care for themselves, which means they could starve or die from infections due to their weakened immune systems. It breaks our hearts to even think about it.

<div>They urgently and desperately need help! We want to get this little quartet off the streets. Unfortunately, that requires significant financial support. From what we know so far, their eyes will most likely need surgery (removal) to prevent further severe infections. Before that can happen, they must be tested for other illnesses and have their immune systems strengthened. Then they’ll need tests for FIV, FeLV, and parvovirus. Until all of this is completed, they will need to be hospitalized. Afterward comes the expensive surgery. Once they have recovered, they will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, so we can finally find them a loving forever home.

<div>Diese vier jungen Kittens sind – vermutlich durch Calici- oder Herpes-Viren – leider blind und leben an einem sehr gefährlichen Ort. Eine sehr liebe Tierschützerin hat sie dort gefunden und füttert sie wenigstens. Für mehr hat sie leider kein Geld, da sie noch sehr viele andere Katzen versorgt.

<div>Es lauern sehr viele Gefahren auf sie. Aufgrund der Blindheit kann es passieren, dass sie überfahren werden. Aber es gibt auch ganz einfach böse Menschen, die Tiere und besonders Katzen hassen, und es verschwinden immer wieder welche. Diese vier können Gefahren leider nicht schnell genug erkennen und sind hilflos. Auch können sie sich nicht selbst versorgen und das bedeutet, sie könnten ganz einfach verhungern oder wegen des angegriffenen Immunsystems sterben. Es bricht uns das Herz, wenn wir an all dies denken.

<div>Sie brauchen dringend und ganz schnell Hilfe! Wir möchten das Quartett von der Strasse holen. Dafür braucht es leider viel finanzielle Unterstützung. So wie es aussieht, müssen ihre Augen operiert (entfernt) werden, damit es nicht zu weiteren schlimmen Entzündungen kommen kann. Dafür müssen sie erst einmal auf weitere Krankheiten getestet werden und ihre Immunkräfte gestärkt werden. Dann braucht es Tests auf z.B. FIV/FELV/PARVO. Bis das alles abgeklärt ist, müssen sie stationär aufgenommen werden. Danach kommt die teure OP. Sobald sie die überstanden haben, sollen sie geimpft, kastriert und gechippt werden, damit wir dann, ganz zum Schluss ein liebevolles Zuhause für sie suchen können.
