<div>Louis Le Roy noemde zichzelf een 'ecotect' en was een filosoof, kunstenaar en visionair.

<div>Hij praatte over 'tijd en ruimte', ecokathedralen, de symbiotische stad en complexiteit, en hoe dat zorgt voor magie in een wereld van monoculturen. Goed dus voor het welzijn van de mens.

<div>Deze woning is meer dan een woning, het laat de bezoeker in de wereld stappen van Le Roy. De inrichting en verzameling van boeken, stenen, schelpen en gekleurd glas maken van het huis een Gesamtkunstwerk met hoge ensemblewaarde, die de filosofie van Le Roy over dat welzijn voelbaar maakt en juist om die reden concreet impact heeft op haar bezoekers. Het is een stelplek van de ziel.

<div>Het doel is om van deze plek een werkatelier te laten zijn wat als een inspiratieplek kan dienen voor studie, artist in residence, kleinschalige lezingen, vergaderingen, werkplekken, en idealiter de jongeren kan inspireren over ruimte, complexiteit en tijd om gezonde en gelukkige volwassenen te worden.

<div>Stichting Le Roy wil graag samen met andere partijen zoals stichting Tijd, het Nieuwe Instituut, KU Leuven, de universiteit van Stockholm, de academie voor bouwkunde Amsterdam, Museum Heerenveen en nog vele anderen verder bouwen aan, en met, de legacy van Le Roy.

<div>Louis Le Roy (1924-2012) was a visionairy on human wellbeing in relation to their environment. He has worked for decades through means of ecological and artistic experiments (for example the Ecocathedral and the glassart-Gesamtkunstwerk) in order to show the effect on its visitors.

<div>He blew them away!

<div>Now, his 'cradle of work' is in hands of the Le Roy Foundation and we need funding to do the necessary renovation. The foundation and its Le Roy network, and in the end the world, will be so grateful to be able to save this wonderfull place where we have founded the Le Roy Academy.

<div>A place to meet, to connect, to wonder.

<div>A place where you can reset your soul.

<div>Also a place where a lot of organizations can work, students can study, prominent figures can be a speaker, and most of all this is a place where our youth can get inspired and learn about time, complexity and space, and how they can be healthy and happy adults.
