9 Fostering Hope was established to help carers with new placements. Too often we hear about babies and children being taken into care with just the clothes on their back. Babies coming straight from hospital with a nappy and a singlet.
The last thing we want to do with an overwhelmed and often very frightened child is take them shopping for clothes.
Fostering Hope are set up primarily for emergency placements Members can call and give us a list of items they need and we do what we can to get the items to them.
The store In wangara is set up for carers to come in as often as they need to take items for their family. We only ask for a small donation each visit.
we are open Tuesday from 9-100 Thursday 9-11:30 Friday’s 9-2:30
We have all items you need for children including prams,cots and car seats.
Please come along and visit.
