<div>We have 5 foster kittens in need of homes, vaccines, spay/neuter surgeries, toys, food, litter, and any potential other health needs that come up!

<div>These kittens' mother had them in a household that unfortunately could not take care of them long-term. A family member interfered, wanting to take them and just dump them in a field somewhere. The compromise was then to bring them to a shelter, but their origin was lied about: The family member claimed the kittens were just found on the street, and the advice given to them was to put the kittens back out in the street.

<div>Not wanting to contribute to the houseless cat population, to the decline of ecosystem stability, or abandon these domesticated kittens, we took them in. We have introductory food and litter for them, but our own financial situation is tight and we need to ask for help. It's hard to, I wish we didn't have to, but I think it's necessary to make sure these little ones can thrive before we find them their forever homes.

<div>We have three girls and two boy kittens, plus the mama who we want to get spayed as well so this situation doesn't repeat!

<div>Currently, we're trying to reach out to local foster organizations to see if we can get any resource help, but none of our calls have been returned yet. However, they turn 4 months on September 23rd, which means we need to get them fixed sooner rather than later because their first heat can occur at any point from then. Raising the funds to neuter/spay the kittens are our first priority, but we can't do that until they get all their initial vet visits and vaccines. That's where you come in!

<div>Julius Caesar is a curious, hopeful explorer who enjoys to climb and investigate places he’s far too small for, but no adventure is too grand for a boy as brave as him. He's vocal and watchful, and has the most expressive little face you've ever seen. He checks in on all his siblings, checks in on the people around him, and makes sure everyone is cuddled to the max.

<div>Cleopatra is the sweetest shy girl in the world who just wants to be warm and take things at her own pace. While she adjusts to a new place, she's content to cuddle with her people or watch from afar. But give her just a little bit of time, and in a day or two she'll be jumping around with her siblings, wrestling, exploring, and showing so much curiosity to new toys and experiences. She prefers gentle play with others, but loves a good vertical scratcher she can jump on and off from. She's a bundle of energy with strong boundaries and even stronger sense of cuddles.

<div>Mark Antony is a wild explorer who's always running, twisting around and playing. He equally loves to snuggle up to you though. Give him a warm pair of arms any time of the day, and he’ll melt right into you. He's particularly a good pouncer who likes to slink up flush beside you, then jump out to tag his siblings before running off. He's a good, smart boy who enjoys holding your hand in his paws, resting his head on your wrist, or touching his nose to yours to say hello.

<div>Sweet Porcia, who seems shy at first but has the biggest little meow you ever did see and a passion for attention. She's an excellent huntress who speaks up for her siblings when it’s time to play. She loves mice toys, playing tag with her siblings, and cuddling up in warm beds when it's rest time again. She does have beef with the mirror though, she can't understand why the cat in there stares right at her when she looks at it.

<div>Little Octavia. She's so shy, and was startled when the other four were first picked up in carriers, so she's been hiding for a few days. We're still getting to know her, but so far she's very curious and so brave once given a little time to adjust. She's gentle and so far prefers to watch the action from the safety of a little perch, just a few paces away from where you are.

<div>And mama Missy. She's a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to cuddle, explore, and roll around with her feather and bell toys. She's just over a year old herself now!

<div>A mãe desses gatinhos teve eles em uma casa que, infelizmente, não podia cuidar deles pra sempre. Um membro da família interferiu, querendo levá-los e simplesmente abandoná-los em um campo. O acordo foi, então, levá-los a um abrigo, mas mentiram sobre a origem deles: o membro da família alegou que os gatinhos tinham sido encontrados na rua, e o conselho que receberam foi colocá-los de volta na rua.

<div>Não querendo contribuir para o aumento da população de gatos sem lar no EU, para o declínio da estabilidade do ecossistema, nem abandonar esses gatinhos domesticados, nós os acolhemos. Temos ração inicial e areia para eles por agora, mas nossa situação financeira está apertada e precisamos pedir ajuda. É difícil, gostaria que não fosse necessário, mas acho que é preciso garantir que esses pequeninos possam se desenvolver bem antes de ser adotados.

Arrecadar fundos para castrar os gatinhos é nossa prioridade

Ela prefere brincadeiras suaves com os outros, mas adora um bom arranhador vertical. Ela é um poço de energia, com limites bem definidos e um senso de carinho ainda mais forte.

Adora brinquedos de ratinho, brincar de pega-pega com os irmãos e se aconchegar em camas quentinhas quando chega a hora de descansar. Ela tem uma rixa com o espelho, ela não consegue entender por que o gato ali dentro fica olhando diretamente para ela quando ela olha para ele.

<div>Ai tem a pequena Octavia. Ela é muito tímida e se assustou quando os outros quatro foram colocados nas caixas de transporte pela primeira vez, então estáva se escondendo há alguns dias. Ainda estamos conhecendo ela, mas até agora ela se mostra muito curiosidade e e bem corajosa. Ela so precisa algum tempinho para se adaptar. Ela é gentil e, até agora, prefere observar o que acontece da segurança de um pequeno poleiro, a apenas alguns passos de onde você está.
