This summer, 2019,  Fossil Posse's ultimate goal will begin it's life!! Eagle County Colorado's FIRST DINOSAUR MUSEUM WILL BEGIN IT'S LIFE!!!!-     The Museum at Dinosaur Junction!!!

Schools, kids, families, locals, guests will soon be able take trips through Colorado's prehistoric past and see amazing footprints, bones, and more from our ancient inhabitants with the soft opening of The Museum at Dinosaur Junction!! WE are HOPING to start strong with this beautiful replica skeleton of a juvenile Allosaurus- this 150 million year old original inhabitant of our area will be showcased at our museum, The Museum at Dinosaur Junction, please help us reach our goal.

Your donations to date have allowed Fossil Posse to grow in an incredibly positive direction and it is a wonderful journey! In 2018, through camp and public shows, we have taught hundreds and hundreds of kids, adults,  families, and visitors all about the prehistoric Colorado and dinosaurs who inhabited this area. In a scientific capacity, your support has allowed Fossil Posse to continue to explore and discover new and exciting fossil treasures to add to the world of science and Paleontology, in fact we will be published for the first time alongside World renowned dinosaur footprint expert, Dr. Martin Lockley, in a paleontological paper on incredible footprints here in Eagle County, Colorado! Last summer we found more than a dozen new footprints; Allosaurus, Sauropod, Ornithopods, and more- some over 3 feet wide, were found in our area alone!!  Working with local schools, resorts, businesses, and families, has given Fossil Posse the platform to connect with kids and adults, locals, and guests to our community who are ravenous about dinosaurs and science as a whole. We can always use more help.
