Support for Chris Fortier & family

Friends, family and wider community, this is a call for help. Our dear friend, Chris Fortier had a massive heart attack on June 1st, while he and his wife Shelly were waiting to pick up 2 of their 3 kids from school.
Shelly jumped into action performing CPR while calling 911. The ambulance arrived very quickly.
Once at the hospital Chris had emergency surgery. He is currently in critical but stable condition, and is under sedation. He has had round the clock nurses and 3 different docs checking on him. The balloon pump around his heart is doing most of the work for him right now. But Chris is a fighter!
A heart attack is always a serious and life-threatening emergency, costs faced by the family are multiply infinitely.
Chris is a husband, and father of three, who is the sole supporter of his family
I am asking today for your help in supporting Chris, and his family, through this enormously hard moment in time.
As Chris begins his recovery, the Fortier family is going to need your help filling in the gaps that the loss of several months income will mean for this family. It’s a big ask; but if not his community, and his friends, who else?
We are all so lucky to be a part of Chris and Shelly's community. And they do so much to give back. They are both very active in boy and girl scouts. And you can often find them helping out at their kids schools.
With the school year ending and their oldest daughter graduating this week.
