There is a tendency amongst teachers to handle things over the summer when they have time off to do so. Jeanne set out to do just that and unfortunately, it did not go as planned. On July 26, 2018, Jeanne got the news she had dreaded...endometrial cancer. A follow-up appointment quickly followed and a date was set for her to have a complete hysterectomy. On Wednesday, August 15, at 11 am, Jeanne went into surgery. The doctor is confident that the cancer was contained... Of course she will have to wait for formal pathology reports, but we are hoping and praying for the best!
