Lisa & I have been friends for almost 30 years now, and I cant even begin to explain how blessed I am to call her one of my dearest friends. But I'm guessing if you know her, you can imagine.

This past summer, when Fahmah was, well, not as employed as one would like to be, she was able to fly north to spend 10 days taking care of me while I tackled my cancer adventure. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Ned the cancerous nodule was taking up residence with her!

I'm so glad that Lisa was able to witness the outpouring of love that I received from friends and family and people who came out of the woodwork. It was overwhelming in the best way possible and Lisa got to experience that with me. I truly think (hope) that this helped Lisa when she found out about Ned. The power of love and prayer- NOTHING compares. Lisa knew that we would be here for her, and we have been!

Lisa recently shared her employment situation on her blog; a situation not very conducive to all the medical bills this adventure Ned has put her on. To add to her stress, yesterday Lisa had her car towed away. Like Ned, its dead.

Please continue to support Lisa in PRAYER (whatever way you pray). Feel free to reach out to her (text, phone, a visit)- she is feeling better day by day. And if you can, please consider a monetary donation. It would be appreciated more than you will ever know- trust me on this one!

Lisa is an avid follower of Dave Ramsey and I know as much as she doesnt have outstanding debt, she isnt in a place to tackle this monetary battle Ned unleashed. I'm setting up this GoFundMe in hopes of raising $5000. If there happens to be any left in the end, Lisa will donate it to St Jude (in memory of Ned ).
