For the Love of Bryndon

Donation protected
As a  mother,  I'll tell you that there's nothing quite like having your child diagnosed with a catastrophic illness, even if that child is 31 years old.

This isn't going to be an easy journey but our son, Bryndon, has a great team of doctors and we're confident he'll beat this. Overall, he's a very healthy young man.

Funds will be used to support ongoing medical treatment and living expenses.  Despite having insurance, there are still a lot of out-of-pocket costs.   Even if you can give $1, things add up very quickly and we will be most appreciative.  Thank you!!!

Bryndon will tell you his story below
:

"I'm not usually one to ask for help. Honestly, I'm scared and don't know where to even start....

I'm 31 years old, married to a woman I can't imagine being without and have two boys (Ayden-3 and Noah-10).  I'm an Army veteran of 9-1/2 years, a year of which was served in Afghanistan.   I was honorably discharged about 7 months ago and moved to Pflugerville to be near my family.   I currently work as a TSA officer and I love my job.

About 2 weeks ago, I learned that I've got a 2-1/2-inch brain tumor.  The doctor says it may have been growing for a year or two.  The nausea started about 5 months ago, followed by loss of focus, headaches and seizures.  I had a CT scan this afternoon and on the way home, suddenly lost almost all the hearing in my right ear -- hopefully temporarily.   I've got a functional MRI tomorrow and then neurosurgery next week.

Cancer treatment is expensive -- not just in terms of the treatment itself -- but also in not being able to work while recovering.  I've been told I'll have to have chemotherapy/radiation after surgery because they won't be able to get the tumor completely out.

My seizures have made it unsafe to drive as of today.   My doctor thinks I'll be out of work for about a month, and I don't want my wife to have anymore stress than she already has.  She's my rock and continues to support me every day.

I cannot even begin to describe how terrified I am.

We'd be grateful for any help anyone can give.  This is s a devastating shock that we weren't prepared for.
