Shelly Burdick (cancer fundraiser)

Friends and Family are looking for donations on behalf of Shelly Burdick (Christopherson) to get through her treatment for Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (triple negative) Breast Cancer. Shelly has been a self-employed massage practitioner for 16 years. She is the wife of Roger Burdick and mother of two young children, her son Gage Burdick (9 yrs) and daughter Presley Burdick (7 yrs).
Shelly was diagnosed in Feb 2013 with a very large inoperable tumor and had to undergo chemo to see if it would reduce the tumor. She responded well to the chemo, it reduced the tumor to a significant size and the tumor was then removed along with all of the lymph auxiliary nodes on her left side. The mastectomy surgery has successfully reduced the cancer by at least 90% of which the remaining is undetectable due to it is in the fatty tissue.
Her treatment has been extended with an attempt to try using another type of chemo in conjunctive with radiation.
Shelly has been the steady income earner of the family. Her husband Roger is also self employed as a painting contractor.
They could use the funds for uncovered healthcare, household expenses, fuel, etc.
... Since the diagnosis both Shelly and Roger have been unable to work full time, due to doctor visits in Bellevue Washington and making sure the children and house are tended to.
Because of the inability to work and unforeseen medical expenses the family is under quite a bit of pressure to maintain and stay ahead. In all attempts to stay on top of things the latest diagnosis was not what they were needing to hear.
Friends and family are also planning a fundraiser so if anyone has something that can be auctioned or raffled, we would be grateful for any help.
