Forrest's Photography Business

I have long been a photographer using my phone and self-taught skills but have recently decided to move into the professional photography world. Right now I'm doing pro-bono work to make connections and build my portfolio with plans to incorporate in early 2024. I am already using a good lens that allows me to take pictures like the one above but my lens struggles with indoor and evening photography. As I shoot more games it will be increasingly limiting on what events I'm capable of doing. This fundraiser is to allow me to purchase a lens that will take my work to the next level. By getting a 200mm lens with f/2.8 capability I will be able to shoot sports even in the evenings as well as indoor activities like basketball, hockey, and even weddings. If I beat my fundraising goal I will also add a special set focus f/1.8 lens for portrait photography that will open up even more possibilities for me to get started.

Starting a business is expensive. I have plans for how to cover my legal and web expenses but that limits my ability to expand my equipment. I want to take the best possible photographs and give back to youth athletics that helped raise me. Please consider helping me do this through your support.
