Forrest James Newman Memorial Fund

On August 21st. 2017, Forrest James Newman rode with the solar eclipse to heaven. He was 56yrs old, and a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. He had experienced illness due to pneumonia, which resulted in a collapsed lung. After seeking help from the Astoria, OR. hospital, he had also suffered from a heart attack. It was over a ten minute resuscitation and then was transported to OHSU in Portland, OR. He was given undivided care and underwent many tests/treatments. After countless attempts and with exhausting all options, Forrest was ready to join his family and friends in heaven. His family/friends were by his side until his last breath and heart beat. Unfortunatly, given the circumstances, Forrest was not prepared for his passing and neither was his family. As we stand still in shock, we are still pushing forward to lay him to rest properly. We are reaching out to anyone that would like to help contribute and put Forrest to rest with a respectable cremation and memorial. A memorial service will be posted and held as soon as we know more. Thank you to all that he loved and cared about. All the prayers, memories and love are helping during this difficult time.
