Recovering from a Devastating Fire

My sister, Kristin DeVries, could have been killed by an arson fire started by some deranged lunatic looking to harm someone she happened to live in the same building with.  The attached picture shows just what sort of hell my little sister survived this morning, and although she lost all of her personal belongings I am so unbelievably grateful that she did not pay the ultimate price for the selfish, disgusting act of another human being.

The money raised from this will not turn back the clock and prevent this from happening, nor will it take away the mental pain and suffering my little sister has already, and may very well continue to, endure - but at least she will have the things she needs to survive.

Any immediate donations will help my sister purchase anything she may need right away - clothing, toiletries, etc.  Future donations will help my sister save for a new security deposit and first month's rent in a new home she will hopefully feel safe in.  Donations will also go toward purchasing renter's insurance.

I know my sister is grateful for any and all help she receives, but I will personally be grateful for every dollar, every cent raised for this cause.  To think that an innocent life could have ended over something so trivial is painful enough - the least I can do, we can do, is give Kristin the things she needs to live.
