Hello my name is Andy And I'm starting this campaign for my mother in law. She is now 77 years old and has had to deal with a lot. 29 years ago her daughter my wife had kidney failure and a kidney transplant. In the last 15 years she has had to put life on hold and help 4 family members with manic depressive. That in is self will drain the life out of you. Then she got cancer (Melanoma) in her leg every thing was fine Operation went great she did her treatments.Her wound would not heal right. So they Operated again to clean it. A few months went by still not healed all the way. Talk to the surgeon again for another operation to clean it But this time they went a little too far and exposed the Achilles heel. For another few months she was in some Serious pain at this point she was given choice keep your leg and deal with the pain or have her leg amputated. Well here we are thats her story she is one of the Sweetest people i know my heart hurts for her. God bless her church members her family and friends they have gave and done so much for her and family. Well I'm doing this because she is to Proud as long as she has GOD her family and friends she blessed she tells me this all the time. I have bought a few items to make every day chores easier but I can not Afford the others things she needs and she has Social security as her only income. Things she needs are 1st a golf cart to get around and get outside she has always worked in garden got her fire wood ect. 2nd will be looking for a van with a wheel chair lift she still like to drive. The system has failed her we tried to get a scooter when she lost her leg she was given a choice a Scooter or prosthetic so answer was clear she picked Prosthetic 2 years Later still no prosthetic due to pain and not healing.She told me I think it is time to move on and try to get back in life as I am.
