Formerly Homeless Nonprofit Worker Needs Dentures
People of Norman Matthew Allen Morgan
My name is Matthew Allen-Morgan, and due to childhood abuse, mental illness, and parental rejection due to my being gay I became homeless for approximately 4 years, unless you count couch-surfing at friends' places in which case the time is closer to 6 years.
While I was on the street I abused drugs and failed to properly care for my teeth resulting in major damage to my oral health. At this point I could pay tens of thousads of dollars in my lifetime trying to save the few I have that are still healthy, or I can take care of the issue now and get dentures.
My dental problems cause a lot of pain, and as a person who works with donors and volunteers my ability to smile is crucial to me. I can't slowly "work towards" getting dentures, as my work requires public speaking, and doing so without teeth would be devastating.
Please help take the constant worry of abscess and sudden dental bills off my mind forever.
I am willing to pay myself, but my credit won't allow a loan. If you know a dentist that can help get this done all at once and let me pay in installments, please pass this along to them, even if you can't help personally.
Thanks in advance for anything you can do!
