Yandy is a true fan and like most of us who still play has a true passion for the game of baseball.
On Sunday the 19th we were all engaged in the game we love when a robbery in the adjacent parking lot went bad.
Two individuals held a family member of the opposing team at gunpoint and stole her purse and cell phone.
Several folks from both teams began to chase the individual and one of them turned and fired 3-4 shots in our direction.
Yandy Garcia was hit in the jaw where the bullet remains.
He lost vision and hearing for sometime but has both restored as of this post.
His medical bills and recovery will take time, energy, and money and is the reason this GoFundMe has been created.
