My name is Kelley and I am the mother of 2 and married for almost 14 years. And I have been out of work most of this year in order to be the main caregiver for my Mom who is terminally ill with an extremely rare cancer called metastatic pheochromocytoma. I have invested majority of my time away from my family in order to do anything and everything I can to help my parents.
Just recently my husband who has severe type 1 diabetes has fallen very ill and the medical and pharmaceutical bills are piling on, on top of the utility bills. We are doing everything possible to keep him from having to have dialysis or a kidney transplant. Just in his medication alone we are spending approximately 40% of his monthly disability income.
We are a family who is used to living on a very tight budget and have done very well keeping ourselves afloat. Until now...
We arent asking for much. We just need a little boost to get back on our feet.
